An Appology : Andrew Bird

I received an apology from Andrew Bird's people. I thought I would share.

"I just want you to know I am incredibly apologetic about the guest list fiasco last night at Largo and want you to know that our friends at ---- are in no way to blame.
The venue and label made a cut and paste error when transferring over the ticket buy names for last night and some names were inadvertently left off / overwritten.
That’s a first for us, I’ve never had anything like that happen before…
By the time we figured out there was an issue a few of our guests had been turned away, and I am very sorry that you were one of them.
I hope we will be able to make it up to you in the future"

A huge wamp-wamp for me. I really would have liked to have gone...but maybe it was a sign to stay away from Largo. Weirdos.

Denied At Largo : Andrew Bird

What a shame. With a big mix up at the door, I didn't get into last night's show at the new Largo. Was it enough that I don't love the idea of the New Largo - with their strict rules - no cameras, phone lights, talking, drinks....just pure theatre, it takes music to a pretentious place. But then - with a confirmation email in hand and everything, I was denied.

Hey Marisa,
You and a plus 1 are confirmed for Monday night show at Largo. You will be on -------- list and make sure to get there before 8:15. They have a very strict policy. It is going to be a great show. Enjoy!!
