Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros At The Hammer Museum

There has been a tremendous amount of hype for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, so naturally I just had to see it for myself. Like myself, I don't think the
Armand Hammer Museum in Westwood knew that the hype would create quiet the draw that it did.

For the last of the July free shows under the stars, the museum had to turn away music fans. I waited almost 2 hrs in line, and the only reason I was able to get in before the headliner went on was because I ran into a friend who was in between the door and the end of the line - so I cut. Uh ha, I did. Sorry guys - but I had to. Two hours later I was in.

Standing next to me was Australian singer Sia, singing along to the songs. The crowd was overpowering the singer as they sang along and clapped to the colorful band that reminded me of bands like Polyphonic Spree, The Flaming Lips and MGMT with their psychadelic and folk vibe.

This is only the beginning for Edward and his Zeros.
