Somewhere in between Lightspeed Champion and Antony & The Johnsons are Boy In Static. Easier on the ear (for me), with a little bit of the quiver that Antony brings to his songs, but with the whimsical quality that Lightspeed Champion has - Alexander Chen and Kenji Ross bring a mixture of sounds to formulate a solid top to bottom album in Candy Cigarette. With plenty of handclaps and twinkly instruments I was hooked. Check out Young San Francisco.
