I Posted a song by Bell X1 about a year ago that I fell in love with, Rocky Took A Lover from their last album Flock. On their newest album, Blue Lights On The Runway, a more upbeat song from the Irish band has grabbed my attention - "The Great Defector". It's catchy and there is something of a David Byrne quality to his voice....or I could be crazy as I am hearing influences in so many bands these days from David Byrne. Could there be a new name for this category? Like the Byrne affect?
