I can't go into Amoeba without a list. How do people do it? I get overwhelmed and sleepy if I don't come prepared. But how is it with such a huge store that even with a list, I have a hard time finding the albums I came for? There are so many small bands out there I guess it's too difficult for them to stock everything...but do I really have to buy them online? I love the adventure of cruising the aisles, checking out covers and the labels the bands are signed to. Somehow though I end u leaving with a pile of cd's that weren't even on my radar. It's nice. Finding jems I wouldn't have found, just by scoping out what is there on the shelves...although it would have been nice to find what I actually came for. Sigh. That's what my next trip is for - eventually it will show up - maybe in the used section.
