The weather is finally getting to a somewhat normal hot level in NYC. It was a beautiful time of day for EMI to throw a rooftop show for their employees with The Kooks playing an acoustic set. I had never really listened to them but I thought their acoustic songs might be better than their studio tracks? They are fun and poppy ala Hot Hot Heat but their sound was so different when played with just guitars that it was so enjoyable.
