Stage Performance : Health & Of Montreal

A noise band opening for Of Montreal...I get it I guess because of the performance quality? Well - Health, from Los Angeles have a great graphic for their merchandise, but personally, noise just ain't my 'thang.


Of Montreal on the other hand - not noisy, but more avante garde, theatrical pop.
A band who continues to evolve through the years from 60's off beat pop to abstract dance music. With each new album which follows with a tour, the band, fronted by Kevin Barnes, becomes a more grand stage performance than the last.



With a numerous costumes changes, or should I say layer of costumes that peeled off through the time of the show, Kevin ended up in his panties....


But woops - the stage performers painted him red! Then a studded jacket is back on (ala Neil Diamond), to then comeback off to reveal his lanky figure dancing around for the audience.

They are one entertaining band that must be seen.
