Impromptu Showcase : The Enright Hotel

Last night on a night on the town, we went to meet up with some people at The Four Seasons. Not my usual hang out, filled with a older crowd drinking and listening to a hotel band covering Grand Master Flash, etc. But, we went to go see some people staying there for work.

In the group of people, all of whome were Chicagoans, were two guys Bill and Steve, who make up The Enright Hotel.

I started talking to the guys who told me they were visiting LA for a independent musician's conference. We told them to get their guitar and play a song for us. We found a couch area at The Four Seasons for them to serenade us. Influenced by Simon and Garfunkel, but with some similarities to the Swell Season, the boys' harmonies put a smile on everyone's face...until hotel security told us we had to stop. It was the Four Seasons after all!
