What is it about A-Trak, MSTRKRFT and the rest of the crew that are touring in the "Fist Of God" tour that brings out the tweenagers? Um...and myself and my non-tween friends?
I came prepared in my dancing shoes and light clothing for a night of dancing, which by the way, MSTRKRFT's set was up at midnight - yet didn't go on until 12:30. It's a good thing I mad a cup of coffee before going so I could keep it together next to the little ones on the dance floor.
I felt as if I had reverted back 10 years to my rave days in NY with glo-sticks and a dance floor full of kids doing X. Though - then, there weren't 13 year olds, and definitely no parents in town watching the kids. It was definitely an eye opener to see how exposed kids are these days to music that they don't rely on the main stream to get them out - even if it means having a chaperon.
Wearing a TRVS DJ AM shirt in support of Travis Barker and DJ AM's critical plane crash injuries and to support their music, MSTRKRFT worked the crowd into a sweaty fun mess.
