Sunny Day Sets Fire played Spaceland. Ahhhh thank you Sunny Day - it sure was one. Finally some elbow room and clear vision of the band. Oh, and I was finally able to us my musician's ear plugs to save my ears from future hearing loss with all the shows blasting in my ear. But with the folk kick I have been on, there hasn't been much need.
Sunny Day Sets Fire were enthusiastic. Like kids in a candy store proclaiming their love for LA. It is their first time in the States and that was they said they had a list about everything they loved about LA. They played so energetically as if the place was packed and asked the audience to come front and center so they could give it to them more. With a show at the Ford Amphitheatre (my favorite venue ever) tonight, and a show promoting a film at the LA Film Festival..this band is gonna get some attention.
