The day's activities were supposed to end up somewhere in Central Park to see Vampire Weekend play Summerstage...but Mother Nature had something else in mind. I had a lovely afternoon hopping from hotel lobby/bars to another for nice air conditioning...and we made it in the clear without much rain until we got to 59th street just in time to duck into the Hudson Hotel for the down pour. Wamp Wamp for us. No show....
